1. Sleep in

Our body needs rest and relaxation in order to regain its strength when it is exhausted. This recovery also has a positive effect on detoxing.

2. Drink a glass of water before you sleep and after you wake up

Drink the water throughout the day will give your body enough fluids to keep it from becoming dehydrated. This allows your cells to revitalize themselves better and you get the energy you need.

3. Schedule a stretching session

Do you sit a lot in your job? Then make sure that you get up from time to time and allow yourself a little stretching. This drives away tiredness, allows blood to flow better through the muscles and also burns calories.

4. Drink digestive drinks

Ingredients such as ginger, lemon, peppermint, coconut or cayenne pepper stimulate digestion. This is exactly what you want if you want to help your body detoxify. It is best to drink tea or infuse water made from the foods mentioned.

5. Refrain from alcohol

Unfortunately, a glass of wine is counterproductive if you want to give your body a break from purification. If we drink alcohol, the body is busy breaking it down again. It then stores other calories from our food or drinks as fat. In addition, alcohol makes us tired and dehydrated.
